Has anyone come across an ad-blocker called Adlesse?

A couple of days ago I noticed the adds on pages have been replaced by Aldesse banners which have weather, quote etc and look like this:

I never asked to install it, and it doesn't show in the Safari extensions or in the Internet plug ins folders in the user library or the global library. Clicking on the link takes me to their website (http://www.adlesse.com/), yet I can't find any info on it when doing a Google search.

Has anyone heard of it, and is it safe? Bit concerned as there is no way I can find to remove it and no hits when searching for it.

Yeah I was a victim of it too. Found out it was part of the FastestTube extension and got rid of it right away.

What is Adlesse it pops up suggesting me to install it. Whey the extension you mention suggests to install it?
