Has anyone compared old and new glossy?

There was a discussion a while back that the new glossy MBP has some type of coating to make the glare less noticeable. Has anyone compared the CD glossy MBP with the C2D glossy MBP and seen a difference? Or was the prior statement just wishful thinking?

I've seen both and they look the same to me. If you focus on what's on the screen rather than what's in the background you won't notice the glare much.
