restored there iPod touch like if it were out the box but kept thier music?

Sorry I'm a bit of a noob, I would love to know how to do this before I erase my music, I just want my iPod that I jailbroke like 6 months ago(never updated) just everything gone and back to default except for my music

why don't you just restore everything to defaults and re-sync your music?

Make sure you move all of your Music on your iPod onto a new playlist. Restore the iPod and then sync the Music from that playlist.

Well about all the music on my iPod is not even on my computer anymore, so if I erase the songs its gone forever

back up the music then onto your computer, theres a couple programs that will allow you to rip it from you ipod
