I'm having a very odd experience! Four months ago, I moved. Shortly thereafter, I changed the billing address on my Apple Card via the settings in iOS to my new address. At the same time, I also changed things like the default shipping address for the apple store, etc. etc.
Ever since then, Apple had periodically just refused to believe that I have a new address---sometimes in the most bizarre places. For example, it took me half an hour to order a new Apple Watch on release date, because the Apple Store iOS app kept showing my mailing address as my old address when I tried to use my Apple Card w/ Apple Pay to buy it. I eventually gave up and did it through a web browser on my Mac, which at least worked.
Just today, I tried to order from a third-party seller via Apple Pay on Safari on the Mac, but, somehow, it *still* shows my billing address for the Apple Card on the Mac as the old address from 4 months ago. And, naturally, trying to use Apple Pay gives me the stupid useless red exclamation mark and "payment not completed," with no explanation why---I assume because the billing address is months obsolete. But, naturally, there's no way to change it on the Mac---following the instructions apple gives doesn't actually work, there is no way to edit the address on an Apple Card in the App Store, it just gives me the option to delete the whole card. What a bloody mess.
It's like every once in a while, Apple randomly just decides to use the old address for something, and can't be convinced to change it. The hell?
