Has anyone experienced false "new text" alerts as in (1) for the convo you're in?

I constantly get new text alerts in the top left corner of a conversation window that consist of a number in parenthesis indicating a new message from a different contact but when I exit out of that convo it is simply an alert for a message I've already seen or even that I've sent from that same convo. It's very annoying and makes no sense.

yes it has happened to me some. Also at times when I send a message all my messages in that convo will disappear for moment until I tap the screen and scroll a bit. Strange.

Yeah I've had that happen, also where only green bubbles will show

yup it happens. must be a bug oh well.

Yes it happens to me too, the same message usually appears twice in the notification center. Ah well, frustrating but negligible...
