My wife and I tried to watch some TV via AirPods tonight after loading tvOS 14 but couldn’t get it to work. After connecting/disconnecting, pairing/unpairing, and switching accounts we finally gave up. I figured it must be a feature that isn’t available until a future update.

Has anyone else had any success with connecting 2 pairs of AirPods to the Apple TV yet?

I think it’s an eventual update for the AirPods themselves that will get applied.

I got this working on my ATV 4K . What’s also nice, is you can permanently add another set of AirPods from another persons account so you don’t have to re-pair each time

Update, I still can’t get this to work on the latest beta. Has anyone else had success with multiple simultaneous AirPods?

I have multiple AirPods in the device list, but we can’t listen simultaneously.

Does this only work with airpods or will any Bluetooth headphones work?
It should work the same as current versions of iPhone and ipad
it's only AirPods, or certain beats
