iPad mini Has anyone gotten charged or a shipping notice for their Ipad Mini 7?

Just curious. With the Ipad Mini 7 (Yes i know they are not calling it that but for arguments sake lets refer to it as such) due out in less then 2 days...you would think those who pre ordered it would have it shipped by now.

I haven't gotten a shipping notice or tracking or even charged for it which i find weird. Maybe its just my OCD Driving me crazy but when i pre ordered it with the apple pencil pro (256 gig cell) i got billed for both. The next day the pencil arrived as its been on the market since march.

Now im still waiting for the mini 7 and the money was returned into the account, no cancelation or anything and im still waiting for it to be shipped.

Is this normal for apple (i usually buy products in store or though a 3rd party like best buy or amazon if they sell it cheeper or on discount).

The last time i recall buying an ipad directly from apple pre ordered was maybe even the Original Ipad and i recall that was shipped from china to here in Long Island and i had a tracking number days ahead of time.

Thoughts?
 
If Apple has it state side then they usually ship the day before via next day air.
 
Past iPad shipments have shipped directly from China and then overnight updates through customs/US.
 
I used my Apple Card and they charged me the day I pre-ordered. Haven't gotten a shipping notification from UPS MyChoice though. Not even the "label created for shipment." I imagine I probably will tomorrow.

If you live near a shipping hub you may not see any shipping/tracking until tomorrow. I live close to a hub and many times on a new product launch I won't get any kind of shipping notice until literally the day of because it's just sitting in a warehouse near me.
 
I've gotten a DHL number, but the package hasn't left Prague, yet. Edit: Seems like DHL hasn't even picked it up, yet, at 09:08 this morning (it's now 14:42).

Still says delivery in Bergen, Norway some time tomorrow. (Hopefully after 15:00, so I have a chance of being at home... ;))
 
I bought it from Best Buy, and got my tracking ID this morning. It looks like it's somewhere in NY state, and will be officially shipped tomorrow.

Edit: The text message I got said it will be delivered tomorrow, too.

Got a text this morning saying mine would be delivered tomorrow but there’s no information when I click the link. I’m sure it will get here tomorrow. First time I’m having one delivered. I usually go to the nearby Apple store but decided to try delivery this time so I don’t have to leave my house.
 
Apple says it's been shipped and will arrive today, coming from Tennessee.
UPS says a label was created but they haven't received it yet and it's already afternoon here.
So it's pretty clear I won't get it on schedule.

They're not supposed to arrive today (Tuesday), they arrive on Wednesday 23rd.
 
My tracking says it's in Tennessee. Not 'out for delivery', or mention of my state. This is the UPS site, btw.

Not sure what this means. Probably just an Apple thing. We shall see.

Just received a notification from UPS that it will now be delivered a day later on 10/24. Has anyone else received this message?

Yes, a day late. This is a first. There's little concern here abut this product. No shipping thread really, just his.

Apple doesn't even care. Apple: "To be delivered ...whenever"

Pretty funny. I mean, I could see if there's like huge demand, and the carrier gets jammed up. This is like somebody fell asleep.

UPS just came and went with other packages but nothing from AI. Guess it did officially slip to 10/24. Agree, a first for anything I've ever ordered from Apple. They usually run a pretty tight ship.
