I've had an S1 aluminum for the past year and recently bought an S0 Hermès. My watch never really leaves the face. All it is used for is to track activity in the background. And for time, of course, which is why I got the Hèrmes. All of Apple's analog faces are... lacking.

I got the Hèrmes S0 so cheaply that a $79 battery replacement is worth it even if I keep it for a short while and sell it. However, getting an S2 (or higher) would be really awesome.

I'm probably going to send it off for a battery replacement either way at $79 but I'm just wondering if anyone has sent a Hèrmes S0 in for battery replacement and what the outcome was. Same watch? Refurb S0? Upgraded to newer gen?

I thought all S0 units were replaced with a S1

Sport models were replaced with S1s.

SS models were at one point replaced with S2s, then it reverted to S0s (presumably using the innards from all the sport models they harvested).

Now i'm not so sure, but there is no way they will downgrade OP's watch from a SS to an aluminium finish. There is no Hermes S1.

I agree as I forgot that the Hermes watches were aluminum.
