Trying to get a repair on an iPhone 6 with half a black screen that's 6 months out of warranty, the advisor on the phone today didn't have a clue, they booked me for a genius appointment tomorrow, but I fear that will be the same problem.

Well it depends what the issue is, really. What is the problem with the iPhone?
