So I’m thinking of hopping on the Apple Watch bandwagon once and for all.

I’ve tried them in the past but the last time I did, with a S5 I found performance especially over LTE to be terrible. I remember walking down the street with only my and I loaded up FB messenger I had to wait literally about 10-15 seconds for my group conversation to load up. That along with some other performance issues made me return my watch.

So my question is has anyone else had issues like this? I’m wondering/hoping it was a bad OS version, or just weak signal where I was those few days. The new SE is really calling me the only thing that is worrying me is the performance problems I encountered last year. If these have been addressed via updates or I was just unlucky then I’ll pick one up for sure.

Has anyone else had experiences like this?

That sounds more like a data bottleneck problem. I have had no performance problem on S4, everything I need feel instant and look forward to watchOS7 which should be even more snappy, because it no longer wait for double tap on crown before acting. That said I have ditched everything FB and never tried using it on watch.

Not had any issues like this, I go out running with just my watch and music, messages, calls are all fine. Occasionally drops out in areas where I would expect it to due to where I run.
