Has anyone here ever received their new iPhone prior to release day?

That is after preordering, has anyone got it on the days leading to the Friday?

I'm referring to those who ordered from Apple that is.

There's always the rare phone that accidently gets delivered a day before launch day. It's pretty much lottery ticket odds as Fed Ex and UPS sign agreement to not deliver before launch day. They usually sit it in the distribution center a day or two before they are cleared to deliver. So when it happens, it's purely by accident.

I got the 1st iphone 4 on Verizon via Verizon website 1 day early.
