Has anyone in the UK bought from.....

Yes I've bought from them in the past with no problems. They've been around for years and have a good reputation. I also use Macwarehouse, Cancom and Jigsaw with no problems.

When I bought my iBook G4 from these guys they would only ship it to the card billing address and I had to confirm my order by telephone before they would even send it out.

that's fine by me, it shows they're security conscious. Has anybody had any experience of this company with respect to faulty products or repairs or do you guys just go straight to Apple?

I bought from macwarehouse a few years back and didn't have an easy time getting a replacement when the speaker was faulty.

I also ordered a PB from Cancom which was in stock at the time but after waiting 3 days I hadn't received it. Called them and was told stock levels change quickly which is fair enough. They said I'd have to wait 2-3 weeks for it. I wouldn't have minded so much if they got in touch to tell me this. As such, I cancelled and ordered direct from Apple online. Arrived within 3 days.

Just my personal experience, not quite as positive as others. Thesedays I either buy online from the Apple store or from one of the retail stores

Ok, let me flip this coin! How easy is it to get repairs and/or replacements if you buy directly from Apple?
 
Cancom were very speedy with delivery for me. Never ordered one of their "refurbs" (like the guy above with the PowerBook?) but when I ordered bits and bobs it always comes the next day or day after that if it's late.

Never ordered from Computer Warehouse, Mac Warehouse, Jigsaw, etc or even Apple themselves (only bought from stores) so I guess my opinion is kinda biased.
 
Computer Warehouse are brilliant, after sales are very good as well.

Bought RAM from them and hard drives, one drive failed, they replaced it wth no problems what so ever.
 
Is it just me, or is Computer Warehouse having a few issues at the moment?

After adding something to my basket, I'm greeted with errors. Gr.
