Its not working at all.

not true at all

As in people are ending up with bricks or ?

i have my beta 1 JB. though not everything works, certain things do.. mostly basic things. activator messes up the dock, so i uninstalled sbsettings (after i hid tons of apple icons) and i also have five icon dock. there is a list in the hacks section that describes some tweaks that do and dont work.

yeah of course 99% of apps don't support IOS 5 yet at least in Cydia. it's beta 1st release. ;) why they even released this jb is beyond me. there is a thread her of people that have jb 5.0. I wait till the official wait plus about a month or so. btw it doesn't brick the phone that means usless. they just need to put back to original via dfu. any way tons of threads about 5.0 having more just confuses things.

I doubt Mobile Substrate is updated for 5.x yet. 5.0 is Jbable, but I'd just hold off until Cydia is able to run on it, and all the cool apps (iBlacklist, appbackup, pkgbackup, BiteSMS, etc.) are also up to speed.

I have mine jailbroken. I only have winterboard, grooveshark, the one we don't speak of, and a theme to make the notification center background black instead of that threaded looking bs

They did it for the simple fact of allowing developers to get their apps ready for iOS5.

It's not "burning" an exploit because it's using the "forever" limera1n exploit. It's not meant for public consumption and I find it pretty humorous that people are in such a rush to get it.
