So I have been wearing my S8 for the last 6 nights and there is still no sign of a temp baseline yet.

It still says it needs 5 days of data to show it.

I have ‘sleep’ enabled and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong?

Enable Cycle tracking maybe.
I’m an avid cycle tracker and the baseline temp is a super exciting feature for me as I’m entering premenopause 🥴 so it’s already enabled and full of data!

That is strange, I already have 7 nights with temperature data. Do you have it enabled in the privacy settings of the watch app?

My wife said it's working on her 8.

I've worn mine for 7 days as of today, it's showing temperature data for all 7 days and a reading of 0.31°F from baseline for today. I'm male, don't have Cycle Tracking enabled. 45mm S8 on WatchOS 9.

I *think* I figured it out. Even though I have a sleep schedule that notifies me of wind down etc, I don’t actually have sleep focus scheduled to start automatically……so I have changed that to ‘scheduled’. Hopefully that will work 🧐

I have a sleep schedule set w/no alarm, don't have sleep focus scheduled to start automatically. I turn it on manually on the iPhone when I go to bed. It turns off automatically in the morning at the end of my sleep schedule, but if I get up earlier than that I turn it off manually on the iPhone (phone and watch set to Mirror each other). Temp tracking still works fine doing it that way.

I had a sleep schedule set, but not the sleep focus as I thought it enabled itself when sleep schedule reminders kick in. I would not notice sleep schedule particularly as I have set it so I still get most notifications and calls as I’m on call 24/7 as a midwife, so I didn’t realise. Sorted it now hopefully.

You *can* set the Sleep Focus to enable itself when your sleep schedule kicks in, but it's optional. I don't always go to bed right at my scheduled bedtime or get up at my scheduled wake time, so I prefer to turn it on manually.

On the screen where you set up your Sleep Schedule, you have to select "Use Schedule for Sleep Focus" if you want it to turn on automatically. Otherwise you have to enable it manually when you go to bed.
