Has anyone noticed how buggy the Camera Roll is?

In the Photos app. Version 4.0.1.

Sometimes graphics are missing, like the trash can bar. The pictures won´t turn at all when you turn the phone. (Yes portrait lock is off).

Actually 4.0.1 is probably the buggiest version I´ve ever seen on the iPhone and I´ve gone through all the updates since my first 3G iPhone.

Makes me sad.

If you think 4.0.1 is bad you should have seen the second beta of iOS 4, that was a nightmare. The photos app does have some issues that Apple needs to work out but I'm sure there at full capacity with releasing all this new crap they got on there website. e.g. Mac Pro, Track Pad, etc.

Yeah, well betas are betas. To the public they should release quality versions.

Or is Apple starting to get into the "let´s use our valuable customers as beta testers" game, like pretty much every other software company these days.

I expected more from Apple.

Camera works fine for me too.

Camera Roll on the other hand is a mess.

Hipstamatic is a bit of mess too at the moment I might add.

That´s because you haven´t used it enough to notice the bugs. The bugs don´t happen all the time.

It's a little slow for me switching the camera from still to video - other than that I've not noticed any real problems.

I've found the camera roll quite buggy as well.

Mail is even worse though. I found 4.0 much more user friendly.

I've not noticed anything and i use my camera roll a lot.

I get this often as well, no bottom buttons so I tap Camera Roll, then view a image again and they are there.

Sometimes new photos don't show up in there and I need to back out and back into Photos.

Its annoying kinda but fast and easy to fix but I hope they fix it.

If you do a lot of taking photos and emailing them as you go, eventually every time you open up the camera roll, a draft message with an old image will show up (and will continue to pop up until you reboot the phone).

The other day, when I viewed one specific picture, it would freak out and kind of flash on the screen with a black background. It was extra odd because it was a picture I had taken of the 9/11 standing cross.

I've noticed a few other buggy things since owning my iP4, too.
