I noticed that in the devices list on Apple ID page in settings for MacOs Ventura Beta that there are updated images for the HomePod. The HomePod Minis have the same current model images. Also if you look closely on the HomePod image there looks like a hole or dot at the top that may lend to those FaceTime rumors for HomePod.

That’s interesting. Usually their images are consistent with the actual product but why would an older HomePod change to look like something unreleased? … unless they screwed up the code to look like the OG HomePod.

More like they screwed up the codes and it’s possibly the image of the rumored new HomePod with FaceTime. The design on image is unlike anything released before.

Cant really make out from the image what’s going on there. Looks more like 5 “bands” going across the front of the speaker and a bit more of a dome like top where the controls currently are? Don’t really see a hole at the top nor understand how that would lean towards a FaceTime version either as a screen would be required and don’t really see one there. Interesting non the less. Nice find!

Have to say that image doesn’t look like a very appley product. I wonder if it’s a bug that’s giving an image of some other brand speaker. Doesn’t look like anything I’m aware of though.
