The ability for me to leave the iPhone at home and just use the watch with AirPods for walks, shopping, dinner has been really nice. Even at work, I've been able to just leave my iPhone in my briefcase and go about my entire day, relying only on my watch and computer.

It's been refreshing to "unplug" from staring at my iPhone all the time and still know that I can be reached. It's nice getting back to basics. I'm now considering whether I should spend the money on a new iPhone, or if I can just use my new watch. Anyone else in the same boat?

Funny, I was just thinking that this morning! I have an SE (like you) and was sort of considering the X... I think it's likely I would have backed off due to the price, anyway, but I leave my iPhone plugged in on my dresser all weekend and in my bag like you all week so... I think I'm comfortable waiting around a while to upgrade!

The only reason I’m considering the upgrade is for the camera. I have a young daughter (and another on the way) and I love to take photos. But for the camera, I’d definitly just keep the SE. I’m actually considering using my somewhat older Sony NEX a lot more. It’s a better camera than even the iPhone X.
