Just wondering if they have an official response yet on what to do? They obviously don't want to have 1000's of people returning phones and I'm assuming the solution will be free bumbers, since they cost apple maybe 50 cents at the most to produce.

Yes, they are aware of it, at least at the Apple Store in my area. I am getting my phone replaced today even though I'm pretty much 100% of the problem is low signal areas. I'm probably wasting my time but they are going to let me test the new phone and see if it is less sensitive to my touch.

The geniuses in my local store knew about it though as they were testing all the display phones.

In a good signal area, I can't replicate the problem. In a bad signal area, I can replicate the problem 10/10 times.
