Yes

Twice - just bookmark the apple refurb site and check it as much as you stand. If you do this you will notice all models of any refurb (mac mini's, MBP, etc) pop up and then disappear very regularly and quickly.

I was interested in a 4Gb version so I was doing this for a while. They were normally sold within an hour. The standard config models take a little longer.

Hope this helps.

Just before Christmas. They only lasted a day or two.

More recently, only the 2GB versions have popped up. I ordered a 13" at 4:30 in the morning and I checked back at noon to see they were gone.

^I stand corrected. While I've checked frequently, I must have missed some.

Just today, I posted a thread about the 13" ultimate being offered for $1529. Unfortunately, the air was gone in minutes of the post. As others have noted, you really need to check fairly often; they don't last long.

Refurbs up now 6:30 PM est

No 4Gb but there were no refurbs at all about an hour ago - now there is a bunch.

Really, the only models most are concerned with are the 2010 models. Currently, there are four airs in the refurb store, but only two are 2010:

11" 2gb ram 64gb ssd $849
13" 2gb ram 128gb ssd $1019

A load of 11" and 13" 4GB RAM models just popped up. I tried to snap up the maxed out 11" but was too late as my net is down and having to use my phone. Noooooooooo :(

is refurbished mba comes in good condition w/o any scratches and problem? is it consider as 2nd hand item?

sorry benjones

might have been me- picked up the 11" ultimate refurb yesterday afternoon.

Yeah there are a few up now. I'm sure we'll continue to see more in the future though, seeing as they've been out for a bit and there is an impending refresh on the pro line of macbooks.

Has anyone ever received a refurb with any aesthetic damage? I've read they are the same as brand new computers, just in a different box.

Sure have... In fact, I just bought one this morning. It is a 11.6" MBA, 1.6GHz 128MB SSD and 4GB RAM.

I've looked for a fully loaded refurbished 11.6 MBA before, but haven't been able to find one until this morning. It was $1189 which is 15% off regular price.
