iPod touch Has anyone seen the new touch at Walmart yet?

I'm hoping to buy from there, but the 2 around me still don't have them. I've heard maybe Monday, but I've also seen where people claim to have already bought them from Walmart.
 
No store of any kind has them near me. Target estimates October. BestBuy couldn't guess, but were surprised they didn't have any yet. Walmart just shook their head "no" with a frown.
 
My WalMart was weird today. They had a bunch of old iPods and one new pink shuffle.
 
Is there a reason you cannot purchase it from Apple directly? Seems to me that would be a better idea that trying to "guess" when a brick & mortar might have it in stock. Shipping estimates right now are sitting at 3-5 days, free.
 
Well, I worked at Walmart this summer so I have a 10% discount card and some gift cards left over from Christmas still.
 
My walmart said they won't go on sale till the end of the month.However you can order them online through site to store and have them delivered to your store currently. And you still get the discount.
 
I don't see that they have them available online to order....

I live on the east coast and I picked mine up yesterday from walmart. They had about 6 32GBs, no 8 or 64 though.
 
One 64GB left in my store. The salesperson said they have only had 8's and 64's so far in my store.
 
At the distribution center I am at we got a load of everything except the touch. I haven't seen them yet
 
i saw it at my walmart but it really sold fast because i only saw one 32gb ipod touch at the store

I've been checking in the Atlanta area for over a week on the 32gb. They have not stocked them yet. Got tired of checking and ordered it for ship to store pickup. It will take 10-14 days.

Be advised that they go in and out of stock daily for ship to store.

I had 2 gift cards to use at Walmart.
