just moved to LX, but am still on mountain lion. still...apple obviously knows where its' going (LX in july, mavericks in the fall); so, worse case scenario, there might be an incremental update to LX if need be, but the new OS, and the new logic, were surely designed to be friends...

I've installed it and booted it up. It works fine as far as I can tell, but since I'm not a music-guy and generally can't do anything with it I uninstalled it :)

so...you spent $200 to try this out? installed logic X then uninstalled??

My guess would be they pirated it. Spending $200 to install something you know you wont use literally makes zero sense.

or, just as likely, then installed nothing at all...then reported on what they didn't actually do... :D

Or maybe I simply got a code for this app from Apple for free... Not everyone is pirating stuff you know :)

Been using LPX since it came out on 10.9 DP3, and so far, haven't had any issues.
Been loading very big projects I did a while back, and so far it seems it's much better at managing memory (That project uses around 9GB). Now I don't know if we should thank LPX or Mavericks (or both?) but it's pretty great!

I had really weird graphical issues with the Drummer feature on DP3. Haven't tested it on DP4 yet.

Downloading Additional Content didn't work with DP3, but seems to be working so far on DP4.

crashes way too often for me

it crashes a LOT for me on Mavericks DP4 and Logic Pro X 10.0.1. I'm almost on the verge of downgrading to Mountain Lion, but I'm hoping for DP5 one of these days.

It's stable here, have been using it for several days without crashes on DP4. It's running better than on 10.8.4 in fact. Could it be related to 3rd party plugins?

Good to know...I'm about to go from 9 to X...I don't doubt they will play nice with Mavericks.....A lot of things are different in X from what I've been reading, but I have no big projects to import as I've kind of cleared the decks...glad it's working and confirmed though...:)
