Has anyone traded in their 13" M1 Pro for a base 14"?

Bought my MBP back in July during a tax free weekend/it was also on sale (upgraded from a Mid-2010 Mac Pro 6 core, RX580). I think I paid $1150 for it or something. Anyway, I was thinking of trading it in for a 14", but the trade in value on Apple's site just dropped from the high $700s to the low $600s, so I don't think its really worth it at this point. Has anyone else done a trade before? I trade phones into them all the time, but never done a computer. I am not sure if I can justify $1400+ tax for what is probably not much better for my use case. I just like the idea of multiple displays without having to use this displayLink adapter that does not work with nightshift for dual external displays, and for some reason, I also can't get either display to run at the native 280hz. Using my Mac at 60hz makes my eyes bleed lol. I would also like the 120hz built in display. I would miss the Touch Bar though. I am one of the few who have really come to like it. Totally a want rather than a need. I just do small projects in Xcode, eclipse and some light 4k editing.
