Has anyone traded in their MBP on Apple

I have an early 2013 15" Retina MBP that's starting to act up, which is making think about possibly switching to a 12" macbook. Looking on the Apple website, they have a trade in program that would give me $650 in Apple credit for my 2013 Pro.

Has anyone gone this route? Thoughts?
