Has anyone tried a FAN/Business Account at Best Buy?

Was thinking of going to best buy to upgrade to the 3GS but heard that best buy cannot handle your order if you have a FAN Discount or a Business Account. Anyone heard this or had any experience to the contrary at Best Buy when reserving a phone?
