it adds a nice springy feel to it and looks cool !
hopefully it will help out too with dust not getting under the keys and plaguing them with issues as is common of the 2016 MBP and possibly 2017 as well
Given the close tolerance of KB to screen clearance and many reports of cracked screens and marked screens from KB are you sure this is a wise choice ?
Be careful and make sure you have AC+ as a new screen is $99 I understand under cover else >$700

I'm also VERY interested in hearing people's experience with KB covers and the '16/'17 MBP, both as a way to avoid the 'debris-caused' KB failures and as a way to improve the low-travel KB's feel.
Have been using these for years, most recently on my '11 MBA. Keymarks do develop after a while, and when they get too distracting I just run a (non-alcohol) 'wet-ones' across the screen. Seems hard to believe that such a thin piece of plastic would cause physical damage. But with Apple's relentless drive to ultimate thinness, who knows...

I would think if anything added silicone/rubber buffer between screen and hard keys, would be a good thing? but I dunno
I already have the screen be marked with the general shape of keys on screen here and there which wipes away with saliva and a nice silky cloth, but I figure this can't hurt. it always could hurt, but we'll see. reviews seem positive on the cover in general on amazon
I think it'd be a lot lower if it gernealyl shattered screens but idk again just got it today
