As an international student in the US, I keep running into problems with the big four phone companies asking for a social security number I don't have. With that in mind, I've taken to prepaid. Simple Mobile looks like a good deal, but before I choose them, does anyone have any advice or reviews to offer?

It's T-mobile service unlimited talk and text but data speeds throttled after 2GB. I believe it's $50.

Why not just sign up for T-mobile prepaid? No social is required. I don't even think you have to give them your real name if you don't want to. Plus you still get the support of a major carrier.
