Heaven or Hell
Has anyone tried the 500GB - 7200 PRM Seagate Drive for
the Macbook Pro 15" Unibody ?

I am considering getting one, but remembered they have 2 versions
Which one should i get ?

There are already a lot of threads about that HDD.

It would be best to get the one without the anti-shock, as that interferes with the built in sudden motion sensor of the MBP.

I don't think that's a problem. There was a thread where a MacBook Pro user posted what HDD Apple used for 500GB and it was the Seagate 7200.4 with G-Shock. If it really did make a difference, I don't think Apple would use that over the standard 7200.4 as that would lead to various problems for the user and Apple.
