A long while back I had the "GizMobies" on my 3GS, same exact thing except four years or so earlier, more robust. Worked well, super grippy yet slides in and out of pocket easy, seemed like a thicker material than this new version, and did not rip apart or anything when I peeled it off and transferred it to my kid's phone after I sold my 3GS and got a new 4. Meaning the adhesive was truly reusable.
GizMobies also makes them for iPads and Samsungs and iPods and maybe some other devices like laptops, too. In a variety of colors and design prints, etc.:

in fact this metallic Diamond Plate design almost looks 3-D:

I'm about to order one myself. For those that own slip stopper, what are you using for the side? I think bumpers would make it bulkier. Thanks!
And oh yeah, the original GizMobies also CAME with slim same/design gel strips on the sides of the phones too. I didn't put mine on to keep the slightly narrower width of the original phone so unless they changed the design or something, you should still get four (I think it was four?) pieces, two front-back panels and two (or was it four?) slim strips for the sides/bottoms?
I am not sure, don't hold me to it, it's been several years, just please check out their site for more info. The thing I do like is they have been around since at least the iPhone 3 which is when I got mine, and they're still in business so things must be good for them.
