Has anyone tried wifi calling?

I was wondering if wifi calling is working yet, and if so, has anyone tried it?

I really want to switch to T-Mobile, but my home doesn't get good reception with any of the carriers and I have a network extender for my Verizon phone. T-Mobile doesn't have anything equivalent other than wifi calling, so I'm really hoping that wifi calling works well with iOS8.

I'm guessing this needs new carrier settings files - not heard anyone mention this is working yet.

Not sure if you knew that but the carrier settings are updated from iOS 7.1.1 to iOS 8. Instead of 16.1 it is 16.1.2 which means wifi calling can work if they wanted it to most likely.

Yes! It's working well. Clear as a bell, not matter what case I'm using. Easy as pie to set up!
