Has anyone used a mba to stream a 1080p movie using connect360 to an xbox 360??

It should work well enough as long as the bitrate isn't too much higher than about 20-30Mbps.

There is a huge difference between being able to stream a file, and being able to decode it.

Well purely streaming, I think the cpu can handle it on the mba's side but I'm not too sure if the hdd can keep up with it.

20-30Mbps is under 4MB/sec, it should be fine. I would be worried more about the network bandwidth, which stops being reliable for G networks at about 22Mbps.

Well I have a wireless N router + the xbox 360 is wired.
