Has anyone used Formac TVR to record from minidiscs to Toast?

Anyone had any experience using a Formac TVR analogue-to-digital converter to transfer only audio specificaly only to iTunes or Toast Titanium? Forgive me if this seems inane, but I guess I'm at my wits end, save for Formac software, besides TiVeRon, that I don't yet know about.
