Sorry, I think you need to figure out the difference between a few people who may or may not have had spontaneous screen cracking
Nice try, but no cigar!
You clearly haven't read the reports, articles, and user experiences about this or you wouldn't characterize it as “a few people” — or questioned their veracity! (“May or may not have had”! ❌ 👎🏽 And, worse, equated adult users who've had this happen with lying children! 🔥 ‼️)
Many people have had this issue — there's no disputing that. For sure, it's a small percentage of owners, but that doesn't mean it's not a real problem. If you look at the threads here on this issue, you'll see I've repeatedly made that very point. (Even in what you quoted, I noted that it may not often happen — but is still an issue.)
Yes, we should distinguish between small numbers or proportions and large ones — i.e., few or many vs. most — as I have — but
you need to “figure out” that just because something happens to only a small percentage of people (even a few) doesn't mean they are liars or making things up!
There are many examples in the world of medicine, environmental science, politics, education, computing devices, etc. where the experiences of a few or of many, but not most, still turn out to reflect real problems. The stage light problem on the old MacBook Pros comes to mind. The fraying of the original MagSafe cable is another. The problem with the home button on certwin iPhone models, too. And so on, and so forth. Take your pick from a host of recent problems as well!
After your discounting the experiences of small numbers (which are far larger than you realize), I had to laugh over your conclusion
I have never had a problem
🙈 ‼️ 😁
An anecdotal N of 1 doesn’t refute the reality that many others have experienced those very problems!
