I am a great Apple fan, but a lot of niggling concerns here for me:

1) It looks like they have had major issues with the production of the machine. What company replaces a product, but you have to wait months to get one, and cannot even order it? A major commercial clanger- they effectively have no product to sell at the moment because it looks to me like they stopped production of the old machine, the stock has gone and they have nothing to replace it with.

2) The spec bumps do not look huge, and things like the internal drive are missing. It doesn't not seem like a massive upgrade power wise but here in the UK it is very expensive, especially if you add on the BTO (!) SSd combo option. Apple is always premium priced- is this just plain over priced? Shouldn't they have been less greedy on their profit margin and thrown in the combo SSD drive as standard spec to sweeten the deal? The rumour is they have had screen production issues and that will be costing them, but once they have that nailed it would not surprise me if this is cheaper to produce than when the last one came out.

3) Am I the only one who thinks Apple's photographs on Apple's website are a little misleading because not one seems to show the large bulge in the back?

4) I am getting a little sick of Apple's price premium hikes on their international stores compared to the US- I am aware ours include the extortionate 20% sales tax- but there is still an unacceptable premium. I also know it is common practise, but still.

5) I even considered the new Mac Mini, but they also dropped the ball there, now only offering it with on chip built in graphics!
