Hey Everybody!

I have been a religious WAZE user for years. I love to interact with other users while on the road, reporting crashes or police activity, or stopped vehicles on the shoulder.

So, imagine my surprise watching WWDC and finding out Apple Maps has the same kind of Waze functionality.

I'm probably late to the game. Apple Maps has had this feature for some time. I never knew it as I was on WAZE.

I'd like to move to Apple Maps. It seems like better navigation software.

So, my question is, how well does the interactive stuff I mentioned above work on Apple Maps? Is there a large, active community of drivers who interact daily like on WAZE? Are the police reports accurate?

Looking forward to reading your experiences. Thank You.

Apple Maps isn’t anywhere close to being as useful for crowd sourcing functions as Waze. You can report that a cop is on the road and it will inform other drivers but it doesn’t show the other drivers where or how far away it is.

Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for

I still have issues with Apple Maps giving me bad directions or taking me the wrong way. Google Maps has become more interactive with other drivers. It has the option to tell the drivers about Jonny Law hiding out, cars broken down on road and about 6 other for a of hazards. Plus, GM has a speed limit ici. Right next to your actual speed. I drive in areas im
Not familiar with and some of roads are dark and limited speed limits signs. So, this small feature is the deciding factor for me.
