'has connected with a mobile device' with MSN?

Is there a way that softwares like Palringo and BeejiveIM can show that we are connected with a mobile device, instead of writing it in our name tag? Right now, the only people I see able to do this is the mobiles with Windows Live installed.

What's the point ?? to show off to people that u're using MSN on a mobile ??

i doub't they'll even do such a thing as it's not really important...

Actually, I put a note next to my name if I'm away with the phone. Sorta filters the people that wants to start a long and useless conversation if I'm driving or at the store.
