So I've just got back from a motorcycle tour round Europe and have more footage than I fit on my HDD to edit. (Damn the non-user-upgradeable hard-drives on the retina macbook pros.) I imported into iMovie straight from the mini SD card in the SD card slot and started editing.
I paused, closed iMovie and came back to it just now and the original clips are somehow missing, both in the iMovie project and on the micro SD card. The card says it has 9GB of space left on it, when it was originally full. How has this happened? Are my files lost? If so I am EXTREMELY annoyed about it.
