Can anyone have a look in settings to see of the build number has changed since GM gonna stay on 5 for now wanting to know if they had changed it cheers

My keyboard shortcuts are not working.

EDIT: I just restarted my phone and they started working. Weird.

I am a fan of Apple Maps. Also, the Facebook native integration is pretty solid. There are also shortcuts when you get an incoming call while phone is locked to answer or deny the call. Plus there is a black theme that I think makes the UI experience better.

Note: I've been on iOS 6 since Beta 4 in early August.

I hate be all conspiracy theory-ish, but even though they are the same build numbers -- im doing another clean install because the GM on the 4S is terrible and the battery life is atrocious (THIS IS ON A CLEAN INSTALL).

how do I do this?

Couldn't we compare the md5sum of today's iTunes download ipsw with the GM? If there were any changes at all, the md5sum would have to be different even if the build number was not.

$ md5 iPhone4,1_6.0_10A403_Restore.ipsw
MD5 (iPhone4,1_6.0_10A403_Restore.ipsw) = e145b74b35bf789f82641f987d93e876

Can someone do the same for the official download?

Will the iOS 6 GM be able to OTA update to the inevitable 6.0.1 when it comes out? This is my first time using the GM, and I'm wondering if I should do a restore to make sure it'll update OTA fine.

Well, I went ahead and answered my own question.

Both the build number and the md5sum of the iPhone ipsw for iOS6 are the same between the GM file and what's available today.
