I'm with many other users that have had many issues with Safari crashing on iOS 7 several times a day. There's no reason why it should be crashing considering I have the latest hardware in the iPad Mini 2 and the iPhone 5S. It's become a big nuisance. Has iOS 7.1 fixed some of these crashing issues for anyone?

I was hoping that Safari would be crash free with the update but that has not been my experience.

Going to Yahoo.com pretty consistently seems to crash Safari but it is also crashing at random. Oh, well, just have to grin it and bear it.

I haven't used my iPad Air much since the update, but the pages still reload if I have 4 or 5 tabs open which has been disappointing since day 1. I'm beginning to think that 1GB of RAM just isn't enough. No actual crashes yet, but my use has been limited. Very disappointing after 5 months of waiting.

I haven't had one crash since updating... Well, in normal browsing. Someone in the ios 7 thread had me open nin.com which caused a crash.

But other than that, I'm good!

I can get nin.com to load in portrait mode but rotating to landscape crashes Safari. Scrolling quickly on that site will also cause a crash in portrait.

Ouch. Bigtime Safari crash on that site.
My Atomic browser also crashed, but I think all the browser apps have to use the basic Safari engine.

Puffin will work but still crashes on occasion.

Interesting. I opened up nin.com multiple times...no issue. I do remember opening that website under 7.0.4 and safari did crash.

Also tried above site...mygmrs.com...no crash either. Was able to flip to landscape and back to portrait..scroll fast. No issues.

Which device and ios ver?

I was able to load mygms.com w/o issue. Safari on my son's new Air was crashing every time he tried to open a new tab, now it's not.

I have an iPhone 5 running 7.1 and an iPad Mini w/ Retina on 7.1. Neither crashed on this site. Maybe it is an Air problem, but why?

Since updating my air, the browser has not yet crashed. Tab reloading also appears marginally better.

Mine is, I'd already started to speak with Apple about it. Sent the rep this this morning. I'm sick of having five or more crashing in the couple of hours per day I use my iPad. NEVER had this type of problem on my iPad 2 running iOS 7.

Try www.mygmrs.com/map/ and see what happens. Safari, Chrome, and Dolphin all crash on ipad Air with 7.06, Puffin does not.

Safari did not crash my Air on 7.1 trying that website nor nin.com. No need for me to try those other browsers.

I just tried it but I have no reason or interest in either but satisfying curiosity.

Sorry folks are having problems but it remains to be seen what percentage will. My recommendation? Time for a trip to Apple since it isn't just using Safari. Obviously something wrong with that device if 7.1 does not fix that.
