I am currently on iOS 511 and I can't even get through a full day.

Take it off charge in the morning (100%) at 7.00 and by 5/6PM battery at 10-15%.

Want to know if the battery life has improved over iOS 511 in the betas?

No one is running it yet.

Beta has extra stuff for developers active.

Wait til after GM or release, but don't hold your breath for batt. improvements.

OMG crappy battery life and now a bigger screen=Fragmented, IOS is heading down the toilet! Everyone get their tinfoil hats ready for Wed!

I have roughly the same battery life on iOS 6 beta 4 as i had on 5.1.1
I remember that the best battery life i ever had on 5.1.1 was 1 day, 2 hours (with ~4 hours usage).
Screenshot is from iOS 6 beta 4, 3G and Wi-Fi on 24/7.

I don't remember exact usage scenarios or numbers, but when I put iOS 6 beta 3 on my iPhone 4S back in July, battery was incredible. A huge step-up from 5.1.1.

I think that after using the phone for 1.5 hours on iOS 5.1.1, I'd be at 80-85% battery and on iOS 6 I was at an incredible 90-95%. I wifi browse a ton so it seems like they have improved the battery in that regard. I could easily work a typical 9-5 work shift and still be at about 60% when I came home.

YMMV, of course. I could've just gotten lucky. :D

I am going to try a clean install of b4 tonight, I am over my 8 hours of battery life.

Yep, 8 hours, all up, about 3 hours use, and 5 hours standby and I am sitting on 15% most days...

mine is bas as $%#@. today i was in school, and the battery was at 90% 7 am and by the 1 pm it was on 18% and i didnt even used it that much. when on my iphone 4 with the same usage at 1 pm it was around 75 %
