Other Has Japan msrp ever been cheaper than USA after conversion?

It is a little bit more in Japan (16 pro max as an example). I like the nano sim tray. Also less cellular bands when used in usa. Also annoying required camera shutter sound.

I noticed AppleCare plus is cheaper in Japan. Offered as 2 years only but USA is one year at a time.

Other than finding an Apple Store at launch , anyone buying ?

I noticed DJI products msrp comes out cheaper in Japan. I also heard Dyson items are cheaper in Japan.

Is it easy to get it unlocked in Japan ?

I guess I have to be in a populated area like Tokyo to find an Apple Store.

You might want to reconsider if you are using WiFi 5ghz networks. I’ve read that they use different channel frequencies there for that protocol.
