Has my DC board just gone? :(

My MBP (2009 13') has just totally died, the charger went off. It didnt turn back on for a while, and now the charger wont work. Whats the odds of it being the DC board, considering the laptop crashed at the same time, and is now only running from battery? Genius bar booked for tomorrow.

if it's running of the battery but won't run off the AC adapter... 2 things

1) ur ac adapter is dead - happens from time to time

and/or

2) ur DC board is dead -happens from time to time

i don't think it's a big deal bc u can get either of them replaced with no problems.

u can check if ur ac adapter is dead by just plugging it into another macbook.
