Has the 17" screen been updated?

I know they have revved the screen on the 15" (and the 13" I think) MBP with a wider colour gamut, does anyone know if the 17" LCD has had a similar makeover, or was it already improved in the upgrade earlier in the year?

it's been improved earlier this year. and has been one of a key point selling besides the 8 hours battery life.

Is there a link to a spec page where one can see the screen properties for each model? on the apple Tech Spec page is nothing written regarding the screen properties for the different models
