Has the 5s price dropped to around 200$?

I think you'll be heard pressed to find them anywhere else in the 200 dollar range. I saw on VZW they're still full price.

Yeah I don't think you're going to find one unlocked and brand new for $200. Before this week it was $449.

Under about this item:

This iPhone 5s is secured for activation to Straight Talk Wireless Only.

Checked some forums and it is definitely locked

That's some BS. Thanks for pointing that out, I had almost ordered it last night thinking I could use it on AT&T...

If I can't find it for $200 new, I might as well just go for the SE then.
[doublepost=1458822348][/doublepost]Would straighttalk unlock it for free? or for a small fee maybe?

Prices for the (still very good and very reliable, solid) 5s WILL go down.

As always, this will NOT be the case "overnight" - especially NOT before the SE is available. Nobody will sell his/her iPhone and rest without a phone for at least 8 days!

Prices will come down to 200-250 - but you will have to be patient….

There will be a run for the SE as it is the first apple product with a nearly considerable price - and the most important: not a gimmick-phone but a solid EVOLUTIONARY, refined 5s, focussing on customers needs in daily use.

At the end of April, maybe May, the market will be flooded with nearly-new 5s and the sell-out 5s.

Can anyone let me know where I can pick up the 5s at a cheap price?

I ordered a SE and wanted to get 2 or 3 of the 5s...it should drop to about 200$ but I can't seem to find anything as yet...

Only found so far at Walmart for 199$ but that is locked to Straight Talk so doesn't help me..

Hey Mams,Hate to tell you, but $200 for a BRAND NEW 5s is hard to find. I got a refurb (Few dings but works perfect) on ebay for $199 and now that the SE is out they have dropped to $160-180 for good condition. Otherwise groupon is running a deal right now on the 4s, 5, 5c, and 5s. New 16gb 5s is $184.99, my mom and dad
finally stepped over to apple and love it. Easy for them to use and they are far from tech people :). hope this helps!

I bought a 32gb refurb on jemjem for $189 - now they have the 16gb at $189

looking for another 2 units...was hoping that the new price drops..

Groupon is also refurb - not new from what i can find...

or is there something new? you mentioned "New 16gb 5s is $184.99"

Just buy a used 5s that's in mint condition on eBay or another similar site. There are plenty to be had out there. My mom was able to snag a used, unlocked 32 GB 5s around Christmas on eBay for around $220, as I recall. The phone looked brand new and is serving her well. I suspect prices on the 5s will only continue to drop.
