I usually at least remember hitting snooze. But I have literally slept in every single day since upgrading to WatchOS 8. Could it be that the screen that pops up while the alarm is ringing makes it easier to stop the alarm? Confirmed the alarm is going off with a test today, but don't have a previous version of the OS to compare the screen displayed while the alarm is ringing.

I slept today that I wondered if I missed the alarm or not. I thought I missed a meeting but found out that it was cancelled 😂

I’m having the same issue.
The alarms are going off but not making any sound or Taptic feedback.

I regularly use timers and have had the same issue with these. They go off but make no sound or Taptic feedback.

I’ve already added Alarm and Timers as permitted apps during Focus times, but this doesn’t seem to have fixed the problem.

I’ve been able to resolve this issue by rebooting.

have not experienced any issues with alarm, has woken me up every day for the past few years ...

Yes, the alarm function is broken. My phone will play the alarm but the watch will not (reliably) do so.
This is caused by either severe battery drain of the watch making it go into low power mode or actual softwarebug in OS8. Either way, if you require a reliable alarm use a non-OS8 device for the time being.

Worked fine for me this morning - only upgraded to watchOS8 yesterday.

@podfrog why not just test this? set an alarm for five minutes from now. See what happens.
