Straight forward question, much like it works for iCal today on Mac.

I didn't know you could do that on iCal for Mac... That makes it much easier! Sadly this is not available in the iOS 7 version of Calendar. #
 
Not sure how you'd use that inside the calendar app itself but if you put that phrase inside of say Notes or an email, the iOS recognizes it and changes it to a clickable link which you can then click to create a calendar event.

Yeah there's certainly that which seems quite similar.
