iPhone 13 Pro Max Has the iPhone 13 Pro max been discontinued already?

Just looking in my local Apple store (Plymouth, UK), and the ip13pm is nowhere to be seen? Uh! Is this a mistake, or has it been discontinued? I was hoping to order one at reduced prices now that the ip14 is available for pre-order.

It has been discontinued through Apple but can still be available new through other retailers (phone carriers, electronics stores, etc.). You will eventually be able to get refurbished 13 Pro Max phones from Apple but only 12 and 11 Pro Max versions are available now.

I should have said, I was looking at my local Apple store 'on-line'.
