I noticed on the US website where it actually lets u browse specs of the iMac that the 20" display specs are:
-400:1 contrast ratio
-170 degrees vertical and horizontal viewing angle.

These are the same specs for the 20" Cinema Display and IIRC these have been improved over rev A, which had 350:1 contrast ratio and a lesser viewing angle.
So is it just me or are the iMac screens now using the 20" display panels?
And i reckon new display will be introduced at WWDC with better specs.

hmm I thought the iMac 20" had an aspect ratio of 16:10, and the Cinema display was 16:9. I could be completely wrong though. Infact I probably am.

It's great news if it's true. iMac G5 Rev2 is a kick ass refresh as it is.
