I am on my last day of est. shipping Oct 31 and it is not looking good. WTF are they doing? How long does it take to make one of these? I am so pissed at apple.

In Shanghai it is already going into the night so I expect nothing will ship today. Apple you can bite my big one.
 
same here dude...mine was shippend on Satuarday, and my macbook pro doesn't seem to move.

Assigned carrier for Europe is TNT-Express - doesn't "express" means "fast"? :)
Anyway, the TNT tracker doesn't give much info - here's what he's telling for the last 3 days:

29 okt 2006 10:22 Shanghai Shipped From Originating Depot
28 okt 2006 20:30 Shanghai Consignment Received At Transit Point

Not much ey...i'm going to call TNT - for further information...
 
mine just shipped

My estimated delivery date is 10/31 too - and I JUST got an email notice saying it was picked up from Shanghai - though my details say "Package received after FedEx cutoff."
The good news, though, is that my estimated delivery day went from 7th of Nov. to the 3rd.
 
You have to be patient its not going to ship as fast as you want it to, It takes time to make a computer then it has to get to the shipping company then they have Identify it then ship it to you. this all takes time.
 
I ordered my 15" 2.33GHz, 2GB RAM, 160GB HD C2D MBP on 10/24 ~ 7:22AM....

And it was delivered at 8:48 this morning (10/31)! :p

Hope y'all get yours' soon!
 
I went to visit an Dell Factory last year

Making a laptop took 6 minutes.
Making a desktop pc took 4 minutes.

Crazy ...
 
i ordered 10/28 at 3pm and my estimated ship is nov 6 with est delivery of nove 14. bah! maybe its because im using my edu discount? this is also a CTO machine...
 
Update - It just shipped from Shanghai

Est delivery is Nov 3rd. I am assuming it will come on the 2nd.
 
My glossy 15.4" 2.33 ghz MBP shipped on Sunday and got to my apartment today. Can't wait to get home. Sorry yours hasn't shipped yet.
