So, yesterday I started working on a few Safari Extension ideas. I logged back into MobileMe once it was back up. I was shocked to find such a horrid "Application Switcher". The small row of icons was so convenient before & it made MobileMe easier to navigate. So, being a Web Design major, I thought that I could partially fix this.
This is my result. A toolbar that replicates the look (and some of the functionality) of the old way of switching between MobileMe apps. It does not have access to any MobileMe account information. Think of it as a glorified Bookmarks Toolbar.
(Not the full length of the toolbar. Shrunk it down for the screenshot)
Requirments:
*Safari 5
*Have Extensions enabled
MobileMe Safari Extension Release Notes:
*1.0.5 (June 20th, 2010)
*Finally found the most recent toolbar icons that MobileMe used before the redesign
*1.0.4 (June 20th, 2010)
*Internal version, just some code clean-up
*1.0.3 (June 20th, 2010)
*Removed unused graphics (reduced the size of the extension)
*Created new extension icons to properly fit the sizes (32, 48, & 64 pixels)
*Minor code clean-up/optimization
*1.0.2 (June 19th, 2010)
*Cleaned up some of the icon spacing
*1.0.1 (June 19th, 2010)
*Found toolbar images for the different MobileMe services
*Replicated similar background color & icon spacing
*Included support for the MobileMe services
*Support for updating
(probably leaving some stuff out)
Known Issues:
*1.0.5 (June 20th, 2010)
*Static Calendar icon (can't detect the date yet)
*Can scroll within the toolbar (need to trim the logo on the far right)
I realize that some of people might be put off by the donate button. If you want to donate, fantastic. If not, no big deal. There's no "trial" version or anything like that. While this is just a hobby of mine, feel free to say thanks via an email or even a donation. If you do donate, however, I'll then email you the version without the donate button as a thank you

The most important part of all of this: Just enjoy the extension!
