So I asked my HomePod something at 3AM last night. It told me that it can't get the answer on the HomePod which is acceptable, then it made a crackling sound, followed by Siri saying something weird.
It's definitely a bug, but I don't understand how this passes Apple's QA.

I turned Hey Siri off immediately, and tried it again this morning to take a video.

I've had Siri mumble garbage after a "My Pleasure" in response to a "Thank you" (Turning off a timer) before. I suspected it might be due to malformed XML/JSON - My understanding is that Siri receives text back, and converts it to speech locally. So maybe it's possible that tags weren't closed correctly in the response from Apple's servers and that gets converted to speech too. That would explain the clicks and garbled ending. No idea if I'm right though. I do know when I said "Hey Siri, repeat that" she did the same thing.

MY home pod made some sounds last night that sounded like they came from the 5 circle of hell.

I am concerned...
